Light, stiff and clean enough for the clinic

What we build for medical
Housings, shells and structural parts for medical equipment.
Start a projectMedical equipment needs structure that is light enough to move, stiff enough to hold position and easy to keep clean. Composites do that job well, and we build the housings, shells and supports that let a device do its work without the weight of metal.
Our medical work is built to a drawing and to a finish. Surfaces are sealed and smooth where they are touched or wiped down, edges are trimmed and radiused, and mounting points are molded in or bonded on to match the hardware on the device.
Prototype, pilot build or a repeat run: the tooling is kept so the next piece matches the last.

What's possible
01
Device housings and enclosures
Molded shells and covers for carts, imaging arms, monitors and instruments, with cutouts and bosses placed to the drawing.
02
Structural supports and arms
Carbon fiber beams, plates and arms that hold a load without flex, at a fraction of the weight of the aluminum part.
03
Tables, pads and patient-contact surfaces
Flat and formed composite panels with a sealed, cleanable finish, built to the size and the hardware you specify.
04
Orthotic and prosthetic components
Shells, sockets and plates laid up to a cast or a scan, finished to be worn.
05
Lab and research fixtures
One-off fixtures, trays and mounts in a material that won't corrode, flex or add weight to the setup.
06
Short production runs
Pilot quantities off hard tooling, documented so a later run comes out the same.

Tell us about the device and the part, and what it needs to survive, and we'll scope the build with you.
