Aerial

What we build for aerial

Lightweight airframe, fairing and drone components.

Start a project

Everything that flies pays for its weight, which is why aerial programs lean on composites. We build airframe panels, fairings, arms, nacelles and mounts for drones and small aircraft, from a one-off test article to a short run off the same tooling.

Parts are laid up for the load they see: thin skins over core where the panel needs to stay flat, solid laminate where a mount or a hinge bolts through, and a finish that is ready for paint or left in raw weave.

Bring a CAD model, a foam plug or the old part. We can pattern from any of them.

What's possible

  • 01

    Airframe skins and panels

Cored and solid carbon panels, hatches and covers built to a profile and trimmed to the frame.

  • 02

    Fairings and nacelles

Aerodynamic covers for motors, payloads and landing gear, molded in one piece or split for access.

  • 03

    Booms, arms and spars

Tubular and formed carbon structures that carry motors, sensors and payloads without the weight of machined parts.

  • 04

    Mounts, trays and payload plates

Flat carbon plates and formed trays for batteries, cameras and electronics, drilled to your pattern.

  • 05

    Radomes and antenna covers

Fiberglass covers where the structure has to stay transparent to radio, with the strength to take a landing.

  • 06

    Test articles and prototypes

A first piece off soft tooling to prove the fit and the weight, then hard tooling when the design settles.
